Brief

This project is the result of a three days workshop on IoT for consumer’s market, created with Capucine Gorenbouh and Anne Lefèvre. Our brief was to prototype a usable device with an app using Arduino and document the project with a business plan to prove its feasibility.

My role for this project, was mostly to work on the concept, the app interface and the business model.

Concept

The concept of Lumos is simple and adapts to the user’s needs. Lumos is an intelligent lamp which adapts its colours to its environment through temperature captors. This smart-lamp allows to create an atmosphere depending on the temperature of the room or depending on your mood. The user can indeed choose the colour of its lamp or change the settings according to his tastes through an app.
